Directions
From the a23: Once on the a23 follow the signs pointing to Brighton Town Centre. On your left you will see a green 'Welcome to Brighton' sign, next on your left you will see the Black Lion Harvester restaurant/pub. Go past the garage on your left, past Withdean Park also on the left and over the mini roundabout. Follow the road for a few 100 yards further and the hotel is on the left hand side. From the A259 - Seafront Road: Follow the road along the coast until you reach the Palace Pier. Opposite the Palace Pier is a large roundabout, take the exit off the roundabout signposted A23 London Road. Follow this road through the Town Centre. About a mile and a half further down the road you will see Preston Park (tennis courts and bowling greens) on your right. The hotel is just past Preston Park, after two sets of traffic lights, on the right hand side.

"good points - very comfortable bed and pillows, giant bath towels, clean, inexpensive, free parking bad points - shower did not work (so giant bath towel of little use), heated towel rail did not work and had exposed wiring, one light (linked to main light switch)had come apart and had exposed wiring. Room was extremely noisy - even though we had requested a quiet room we were given one which faced the main road. overall - with a blitz on maintenance this would be a good budget hotel, at the moment it is let down by dangerous equipment failures. Surely the staff should report broken fittings."
